Once you've met someone, you won't really forget them. It just takes a while for your memory to return...
"Will we meet again sometime?"
"Sure we will"
"Promise?"
"Promise."
HOLY FU**** S****!!! I can't believe I did this! I CANNOT believe I DID THIS! On a school night! *does the Rapunzel dance of "yay" and "nay"...*
... oh, right - drawing *ahem*
For a couple of weeks now, I've been rather stressed with work, so after taking ~
Bezanthume's suggestioin, I decided to take a break and finally watch Spirited Away. Well, it is a Ghibli movie, and I am rather fond of Howl's Moving Castle...
The moment I pressed "play" my life was changed forever...
I can start, but I don't think I can ever finish saying just how much I love this movie! Spirited Away must be - in my opinion - one (if not
the) of the best movies to have ever existed! There are so many things to like: the characters, the atmosphere, the animation (

) the music, the incredible use of Japanese folklore mixed with modern terms to create one of the awesomest bits of animation ever!
~Bezanthume, I will continue to thank you forever and a day after that to thank you for introducing me to this beauty!
You can imagine that my hands were itching (even without my knowledge) to draw some SA fanart. The result stands before you. Why now? ... I have no idea...
But here it is. And in case you're wondering, I do believe these two met again after the movie ended, and I sure want to think that they got to spend some memorable moments together - lighting lanterns on water being one of them

And yes, Haku is
burning the sign for "light" on that lantern, and yes, he is also making the water dance. Anything for a friend, right?
