For the MTM: WINTRY WONDERLAND competition that's taking place at Mintokyo [link]
Not at all completely sure about the bg, but I totaly have gone into the love for textures. My character Holly and her pet mouse (yes, it's a mouse, one that's looking up at the snow) Tow - I bet you can figure out from where I got their names, ne? I wonted to make someting special (for the holidays, you know) but I also wonted to experiment on other stiles and this is the result. First thing first, I totaly love to draw holly (don't ask why, I simply do) and I have gone into a litte candy cane obsesion lately so ...  The colors were not particulary hard on this one but I had a bit of problem decididng on the bg but I think I did a nice job. p.s. I listened to christmas carroles while working on this. the sketch took me aproximately 1 hour, the inking was extended to 2 ore 3 hours and the coloring and texture making (most of the textures were hand made) took about 7 to 9 hours. character © ~Mikomi-sama texture (scarf and hat) © Aetheieality.net artwork © ~Mikomi-sama |

We attempt to accomplish this by daily featuring Literature artists from around the community that deserve the recognition, but are not getting it. Each day we will feature 5 deviations from the Literature categories in a News Article. In order to support the artists that we feature, we ask that you  the news article as well as check out the individual pieces. We understand that each day you may not be able to check out each and every one of the pieces, everyone has their own things going on.
