"Cross my heart and hope to die, Ulquiorra-san ..." --------------------------------------------------------------------------- And who ever says this is not cannon did not read the manga. I just love Ulquihime!  It's got to be my favorit pairing in the whole anime/manga world. I mean, think about it! They are perfect for each other! One is always smiling, the "live in the moment" type and never tries to hide her emotiones, the other is stonic, cold,calculated and never shows emotions - one completes the other!  But in the same time they have so many things in common ... (WARNING: may contain nonseance) The story is like this: after countless begs on the behaf of Orihime, Ulquiorra finally gave in and asked Aizen for a small trip to the Human World to pick up some of the girl's "toys" in order for her to be more cooperative (she promissed him that). When dinner was served that day, Orihime almost choked Ulquiorra to death in one of her hugs, thanking him over and overa again. A few days afterwards, Aizen gave Orihime permission to start and move around Las Noches every evening with the condition to be under Ulquiorra's supervision. It so happens that in one of heir walks, she brauth her CD-player with her, planing to listen to some music in the "sun room". It was only then that she taught of shering the headphone with Ulquiorra, hoping that by dooing so she might get a little closser to her guard, and someday, a possible friend ... (noneseance over) Well, there you have it. I really should try and write a fanfic on those two some day. Really I should ... Now, regading the drawing ... I really don't like how Ulquiorra's right hand came out, the folds on the clowds was murder and I failed miserably at my first try at drawing Orihime. Also, I don't know if Orihime even has a CD player, but being Japansese I suspect she has. And I wanted to add a proper background, but I was simply not in the mood anymore to draw leafs nor anything else for that matter. Oh, and regarding the background, it's just a wind up of diferent textures all merged into one. I just toyed around with a few I got from CG Textures by adjusting the colors, styles, opacity and so on.
